A Legacy Built Over Generations
FXB
1890
The FXB story began when 16-year-old Francis Borg travelled from Gozo to Malta to learn carpentry. Returning to Gozo, he established a small woodworking workshop, laying the foundations for a family business built on craftsmanship, dedication and quality. He later spent time in the United States before returning to Gozo to expand the business.

Following the Second World War, Francis Borg's sons, Francis Xavier and George, took over the family business. Building on their father's legacy, they continued developing the workshop, combining traditional craftsmanship with a growing ambition to expand the business and establish a stronger presence in the local furniture industry.
